Entering Qingshen Economic Development Zone in Sichuan, a bustling and vigorous scene comes into view. In the enterprise workshops, the machines are roaring, and the workers are busily shuttling around. Meanwhile, various industrial production lines are accelerating the debugging process, preparing for subsequent production. At the project construction sites, the builders are sweating profusely, and modern factories are springing up one after another.

In recent years, Qingshen Economic Development Zone has been fully committed to developing new-quality productivity and actively implementing new-type industrialization. In terms of enterprise cultivation, it has nurtured excellent enterprises and attracted strong ones, forming industrial chains and clusters. In project construction, it has expedited construction and production, and promoted projects to meet regulatory requirements. In technological innovation, it has led with a green approach and taken the lead in segmented industries. It has successively won honorary titles such as National Green Industrial Park, Provincial Precision Transmission Parts Industrial Cluster, Provincial Near-Zero Carbon Pilot Park, Provincial Pilot Park of "Evaluating Heroes by Acreage", Advanced Collective in the Construction of Emerging Cities with High-Quality Development in Meishan City, and Advanced Collective in the Year of Strengthening Manufacturing in Meishan City.

The Green Casting Park has emerged prominently, featuring high-tech and high-quality new products, and actively promoting the development of new-quality productivity. Qingshen Economic Development Zone adheres to targeted investment promotion along the characteristic industrial chain, takes advantage of the scarcity of casting and surface treatment licenses within the Chengdu Metropolitan Circle and the cluster advantages of equipment manufacturing. It makes every effort to attract enterprises with high-value-added production processes such as precision casting, vacuum plating, and precious metal surface treatment to settle in. In 2024, it conducted inspections and docking with enterprises both "going out" and "inviting in" more than 80 times, and attracted 14 high-end equipment manufacturing projects such as Qin Dubao and Jiulei Machinery, as well as 2 new energy and new material projects such as Meixi Technology and Jingtan Times, with a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan, including one project with an investment of over 2 billion yuan.

Projects are the engine, energy gathering field, and backbone of industrial development. In 2024, the park implemented a total of 22 projects, with a total investment of 9.525 billion yuan, including 8 key projects at the provincial and municipal levels. Currently, 13 projects such as Deen Aerospace and Xinwulingwu have been completed and put into production.

Driven by technological innovation, it has shaped new development advantages. "Last year, we achieved new breakthroughs in our R&D results. We carried out 26 joint enterprise technical research projects, completed 9 of them, published 1 academic paper, and obtained 2 patent authorizations," an official of the park introduced. Currently, 7 patents are being applied for. Among them, the research and development project of the new-generation bamboo cutting tool led by us has been concluded, and it is expected to obtain patent authorization by the end of 2025. 90% of the component production of this equipment will be jointly completed by the enterprises in Qingshen Economic Development Zone. The total number of innovation entities has also been continuously increasing: The park recommended 2 enterprises to be approved as municipal engineering technology research centers and municipal enterprise technical centers respectively, 2 enterprises were approved as provincial enterprise technical centers, 1 enterprise was approved as a provincial specialized, refined, characteristic and innovative enterprise, and 2 enterprises were approved as high-tech enterprises. The total number of innovation platforms in the whole county ranks among the top in Meishan City.

Taking the construction of scientific and technological innovation platforms as the starting point, it has deepened the cooperation model among universities, enterprises and the local government. It has deeply promoted the cooperation of "government, university, research institution and enterprise" with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sichuan University and other institutions, and reached cooperation intentions with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Sichuan Engineering Technical University to jointly establish a Robotics College and a Casting College respectively. The Mechanical Industry Research Institute of Chengdu Technological University has established a "Teacher Engineering Practice Base" in the park, and dispatches backbone teachers to Qingshen to carry out engineering practice activities for no less than 6 months every year. This cooperation model between the university and the local government is the first of its kind in the whole city. "Currently, the effect of introducing intelligence has begun to show," the above-mentioned official introduced. The park has introduced 6 engineering doctors to conduct "one-to-one" technical assistance in enterprises for half a year, forming 3 scientific research projects. Among them, the "Research on the Innovation of Supply Chain Financing Mode of Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Innovative 'Little Giant' Enterprises in Chengdu Enabled by Digital Intelligence" jointly declared with Dr. Kang Xueqing has been selected as a planning project of the Chengdu Social Science Federation in 2025.

At the same time, it has promoted the construction of R&D platforms. The park has boosted the iterative upgrade of the Deen Cloud Manufacturing platform and jointly built the Qingshen Digital Intelligence Industry Innovation Center. It has jointly established a surface treatment pilot base with the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University. It has taken the lead in promoting the construction of a bamboo fiber comprehensive utilization pilot base together with the county bamboo industry research institute, the county economic and technological bureau and Huanlong New Material Company. It has guided Dexin Aviation to build an aviation ground equipment pilot base.

It has continuously carried out enterprise-benefiting inspection services. In 2024, the park provided equipment lending services to 11 enterprises such as Sichuan Danfu and Qingcheng Machinery for more than 80 times free of charge. It has deepened the precise government service model. Currently, the park provides 220 government service items, handled more than 500 enterprise-related matters throughout the year, and held trainings such as "Large-scale Equipment Updating" and "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transformation". It has held special publicity meetings such as the capital supply and demand docking meeting for surface treatment and casting enterprises entering the park and tax service entering the park, helped 3 enterprises to obtain 10.4 million yuan of risk-sharing funds led by the county government, and assisted 17 enterprises to solve commercial loan financing of more than 60 million yuan. It has established a complaint center for optimizing the business environment, collected and solved problems reflected by the public and enterprises through multiple online and offline channels, and created a good business environment.

"In the new year, we will focus on the goal of building a national characteristic advanced machinery manufacturing industry agglomeration area and a national specialized, refined, characteristic and innovative equipment manufacturing base. We will play an important role as the main engine for promoting industrial development and strengthening the county, and as the main battlefield for scientific and technological innovation and R&D. We aim to achieve a comprehensive output value of over 20 billion yuan and rank among the first echelon in the comprehensive evaluation of the park in the province," the person in charge of Qingshen Economic Development Zone said.
